    Default 6-max bubble hand

I'd been pretty laggy here. It had actually paid off quite a bit until a couple of hands before this when my K5 ran into AK on an KKx board (without which Tib would have been out and I'd have had 6k chips). jkipping had been mostly tight, but he'd also just seen the K5 hand (which I'd also raised preflop) and a few hands where I backed off when Tib pushed back. What range do you give him postflop? How do you play it?

off the top of my head, if you fold here you should check flop instead. I would much rather check/raise, or check call if he makes it cheap enough. I would call here too, but he does this with some hands maybe he would have folded if you CR (like a T with a heart).

As played, I call here. Looks like he is betting to get you out.
But I dont like your pot sized bet on flop.
Like Drmc said I would probably check-raise the flop to force him to make a decision.
The check-raise works wonders on the bubble because nobody wants to finish 4th .

Perhaps I should add that he hadn't shown a tendency toward aggression. I fully expected him to fold if he had nothing - he did so routinely. I also don't expect him to raise if I check without a hand (he hadn't done so pretty much at all).

Yea, maybe he's got KQ with Qh, or maybe a limped AA with the Ah? I'm not entirely sure you can count flush outs with the Qh and Ah likely holdings if he's raising like that.
But given the history you described, I think I make the crying call.

    P.S. You are a badass.

In this instance, you're both right. I made the call and when he flipped QhQs, I began wondering if there was any way I'd make it past the bubble with only 200 chips. Then the straight came in and I received just the flurry of curses you'd all expect.

P.S. RJG, please don't attempt to insult me again. I've made more this month, playing 4 days, than you've made in your poker career.
