Default How many Sngs do you do at a time?

It seems once I go over one, I get myself into all types of trouble loosing money every which way.

When I feel I know a lot about the game, its hard to pinpoint the situation because you've got multiple games going on at once.

So for now its one until I can figure out the solution to the probelm.

    How about you?

I load up 3 stars turbo's, wait 10-15 min, then load 3 more... Dealing with 5 bubbles at once is hard... Dealing with 2 HU matches and 2 bubble's isnt as bad.

I 2-table @Stars or Poker Room with no problems, but that wasn't always the case.

When Adding a third table to the mix i find my decision makng suffer's. I'll miss the odd blind stealing opp & make a few more mistakes than usual.

It takes time & practise when you add more tables.

I don't think my brain could handle 4-tabling, but that is what i eventually want to do.

when i played sngs on stars, i would fire up 4 $16 turbos at once. it did take a while to get used to. just add 1 table extra sometimes until you get used to it.

Low buy-ins where I'm essentially waiting for the idiots to go for a while, I'll play two at once, sometimes three if I'm focused properly and playing well.

At the higher buy-ins I'm playing one at a time, I need to be focussed on all the players in every hand they play, not just mine.

Your nuts, my computer was laggin at 4 tables.

    I finished 1st, 3rd, X,x

So 15 bucks profit in an hour.

But once u get out of the realm of 3 you cant read the table as well. You dont make as good as judgement because of the time restraint.

Try clearing up your computer a bit, i have 1gb ram and play 9 tables with no lag at all.

Try defragmenting. Or get a program that clears junk files. And make sure your virus free.

I play 2 in parallel, starting pretty much at the same time.
I can 3-table if I have nothing else to do while playing.
With 2 Sngs I can do other stuff (some work, browse FTR etc..), with 3 its too hard for me

I only do one at a time and am envious of those who multi table 4/6 or more (including turbos!) with some degree of comfort. However, I do plan to ratchet up and increase to 2 to see how my brain copes and will start the second one when/if (LOL) I get to level 3 in the first.

I always find the first 2 levels frustrating so it might work for me.

They will certainly not be turbos - it takes me more than 15 seconds to type in the amount of my bet!

By the way i tend to play the $20 buyins at either Party/Poker Stars or the £10 buy ins on Crypto.

I'm 5-7 tabling Speed 109s/215s, but I'm a Sng noob, so I guess I'll add more tables later.

I used to always just play one, thinking that it would make me concentrate but the reality was that I just got bored and surfed the net or watched tv while clicking fold every so often for the first 2 levels.

Then I started playing 2 and quickly 3 and I have to say it has made a big difference because I don't get as bored. I realise I'm still just clicking fold at 3 tables instead of one but it isn't as bad and it means that I don't get the demons when I see A9s or something ater 5 orbits of nonstop folding! That is essentially how it helps me.

I just had a go at 4 tables there but I didn't do so well (won 1, bubbled in another, and crashed out in 7th in the other two). Only down a buy in overall but I think I'll stay with 3 for a while because 4 is a bit much for me.

When i started 2-tabling turbo's, i found it quite difficult at first. I soon learned to adapt and i can now play them on auto-pilot.

I've tried 3-tabling on two occassions, but did not enjoy the experience at all.

I needed to try some software out at stars last week so i used this as an excuse to attempt 4-tabling the $6's. I found this near impossible to do, didn't make ITM in 8 sng's and made several glaring mistakes.

I also felt physically ill with a splitting headache & close to vomiting.

I know regardless of how much my game improves, i will never be able to play more than 3 tables. It's just how my brain works. I can't multi-task at the best of times away from online poker.
