I don't get this push. If someone has an ace they are obviously going to check it after that flop. On the turn you have to figure the 5 might have helped a limper, KQ could be calling you here, pocket pairs. Thats not to mention if buddy flopped quads. At this point in time you need to figure you probably arent winning, you need to check it down and toss it if your bet into.

Please do not post this part of your HH, it is results oriented because people giving feedback will know that you got someone to call that probably had you.
Even still I don't like the push. just keep checking and hope to hit a K or a T.

    Thanks for the replies.
I was debating where to trim and probably should have put the flop out there and left off everything else, sorry.

Does the fact that the table is 6 handed (with 11 remaining out of 45) and approaching the FT of a 45 man tourney affect how you play this?

What are the odds that someone has the last ace here? 1/47? (I'm not a math guy, so please correct me here).

Also, can anyone comment on whether limping in KT was correct, or should I have raised here to either steal or build a pot? (or even just fold)

Alright, here's my exact line in your situation, assuming I have no past history or knowledge of the players, which is something you should have at this point.

Your M is less than 6. You should be looking for push/fold opportunities. Preflop, I would never just limp in the SB here with KT. You either have to push your stack preflop against the random big blind hand and the big stack limper, or you have to fold it. Lacking reads, I would fold.

A number of things influence your decision to push or fold. Has the big stack been limping a lot of pots? Is the guy in the big blind willing to take gambles? (with 6800 he probably is not). So your main concern with getting a caller is from the big stack limper. What is his limping range? What is his calling range? If there is a vast difference between the two, then go ahead and push. If you don't know the answer to this question or if the ranges are very close, then fold.

With 2 more people in the pot and no real idea where you stand, I check fold this hand
