    Default Push this flop? ($11)

UTG is a loose donk (45/15), SB isn't much better (35/10). With 780 chips behind I'm short enough to push this flop, right?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Button (t1110)
    SB (t3160)
    Hero (t980)
    UTG (t6060)
    MP (t2190)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8, Q.
UTG calls t200, 2 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

    Flop: (t600) 8, J, 4 (3 players)
    SB checks, Hero ????

    fine,

tho pf push wouldnt be a huge mistake if you feel UTG is rubbish.

    reads on UTG ?
If he is loose-passive I push it
If he is loose-aggressive I check raise him
If he is tight I check-fold

Pushing preflop basically guarrantees that you're playing for your stack with Q8o 3-way. I don't like it at all.

I don't think you have enough chips here for a check-raise to add any equity to your hand.

Shove, then close your eyes and pray one of these guys doesn't have a J, because any J is calling. QJ is the ultimate donkey hand to limp with so I have a feeling you were done by that.

I wouldn't push. UTG limpers often show 9T, JQ in this spot.

OK, I agree I should have just pushed this.

As I'm weak/tight I checked and UTG checked behind. Turn came 9 and SB bet 200. Your move? Push or fold?

Given your stack size at this point and the limit you play. Your best choice is to PUSH here. You may lose, but, at this point it is irrevelant.

Now it has to come down to reads on SB. Is he raising any two here? You can basically only beat a bluff. Against most people, I'm folding.

That's what I thought (and did) - he's basically your typical loose passive $11 player, so I figured he had something like A9/K9 and folded.

Agree it was a mistake not to push the flop though.
