has anyone noticed them getting a bit tougher in the last week or two?

usually im used to being in the money in about 55-60 hands... but the last 25-30 ive played have taken anywhere from 75-170 (i bubbled in the 170 hand one... ugh)

seems like players are no longer making poor calls... but shitty bets and easy pushovers still abound. anyone else notice this?

Yeah, I have noticed the $11 normals getting a bit tighter and more aggressive overall. I've noticed that preflop blind steals get defended (most often pushed over) and flop c-bets get raised too.

You still get your fair share of 60%+ VPIP players who call down to the river with anything. Also, there are still the super weak/tight players who become foldbots as soon as the blinds increase and it gets to 4-5 handed - very easy to play against as you just keep on bullying them - when they play back, they have a hand.

Lots of resources out there now for even the really weak players.
I mean even if they just lurk around a few forums they're going to get much better a lot faster.

Still, the $11's are still fairly easy money if you play a solid game.

I've found that the $5.50's are actually getting more solid too, as most players at this level aren't sufficiently bankrolled for them and are playing very tight poker from the start.

Of course, once you make it to the bubble it's easy pickings as they fold everything if you just breathe on a pot. If a raise comes you're folding. Simple strategy in general.
