Default AK 5th hand - is this OK?

7th hand, no reads. What's your play with AK on this flop and turn, is this standard? Is it more +EV to check the turn?

Most likely not. I find that TPTK is very often the best hand in these sorts of situations.

I think I play it the same way on the turn.

However, I may just push the flop. Too many draw out there and the turn is likely to scare me so I want my money in the middle with what I believe is the best hand.

You don't have enough left after that flop raise to fold the turn or river so may as well put it in anyway.
