    Default 5 hands

I just did a $5.5 SNG tourney on Stars where I think I've played bad. I've selected 5 hands on which I would like your comments.
    Here they are:

Would you have raise more pre-flop?

What would you do? call and hope to hit trips? raise to try and steal the blinds? fold?
For me the current level of blinds was not high enough to try and steal it ...

    -----Hand 2-----

Do you think this is a good place to try and steal the blinds even if 4 players were left to act?

Villain had not yet re-raised pre-flop after a limp. For me this was more like AK or maybe AA or KK slow playing.
Should I have folded pre-flop and not raised?
I think I'm behind pre-flop. Would you call?

Was this a bad move? I know I'm UTG, but A9s is not a bad hand as I had an M of 5.53 (8.5xBB) ...

    Hand 1: fine.
    Hand 2: standard raise.
Hand 3: I only raise this in BN/SB.
Hand 4: blegh. I guess you have to call and hope for Axx or TTx. Fold is fine too, stack sizes are awkward.
Hand 5: I guess this is fine, although I'd rather have AJ+/77+ here. It's probably pretty close..

    1. KK - 80 to go at a $5.50. You want to get money into the pot with what is almost certainly the best hand preflop. On the flop, I would lead, otherwise I play it the same as you.

    2. 33 - this early, I just flat call and play for set value.

    3. A9o - fold. Your stack size is awkward, if you had like 2000-2500 chips I would raise 3x BB.

    4. ATo - your raise is fine because you have position, once opp pulls the limp/re-raise trick I fold. He could be doing this with a wide range but not worth taking the risk even with the minre-raise IMO.

    6. 76o - with 2 opps seeing the flop, I don't bet the flop. Check and see what happens. If the player behind you checks and it's checked to you on the turn I might take a stab there. At this stage you REALLY need to preserve your chips for a good pushing opportunity. 150 chips lost here could mean 300 later on if you double up through somebody.

    11. A9o - this is an interesting push where it is -EV if opps are tight but +EV if they are looser. At a $5.50 where opps will tend towards the looser side, I think this is OK. You just got unlucky to run into a monster hand (and suck out on the flop but get rivered).

That's what I did and I didn't hit the flop so I've folded.

The is that I was not having hands/position to steal some blinds and this seemed like a good oportunity ... I think I would did again if I had the same position and stack size. Do you think it's a bad play?

I thought oponnents where tight, it showed, only a guy with KK called. So I'll remember next time that this is -EV

Eh, it's not terrible to be raising this, I just looked at the stack sizes again and the Button is sitting out so it's like raising from the CO.

I guess the issue is that you can ill afford to lose 150 chips if somebody pushes over, and it gets worse if somebody calls, you miss the flop, the pot is then 325-375, you need to bet 200 as a c-bet, if they call again you have to shut down unless you hit and if you fold you've burned 350 chips or almost 1/3 of your stack for the chance to steal like 75 chip in blinds?

At a $5.50 I think this is an OK push as opps are rarely tight enough to make it -EV (calling ranges 66+/AT+).
