Default What would you do on this board?

    Hero (SB): 1500
    BB: 1000
    UTG: 6000
    CO: 800
    BU: 4500

    blinds 50/100

    dealt to hero:
    7h 7s

    pre-flop:
    UTG: calls
    CO: folds
    BU: calls
    Hero: completes
    BB: checks

    flop:
    5d 6d 7d

    Hero: bets 400
    BB: folds
    UTG: raises 5900
    BU: folds
    Hero: ????

For me he was on a flush draw/two pairs/or top pair, I would have 8 outs on the river and 11 on the river.
    Would you call?

Without a read on this guy it's pretty hard for an outsider to take a guess at his hand holdings. Some bigstacks will push with a high trump to the board card here, others are just plain bluffing.

Holy crap I read the board wrong, I'm insta-calling this. (thought you just had top pair)

You flopped a set and he's probably semi-bluffing with any If he has a flush already, or hits a flush, you have 7 outs twice that beat that for a boat or quads, plus more runner runner pair possibilities to help with the boat.

Call, call, call, call, call yo momma

    Thanks for the comments guys!

Actually, he played a bit loose and was lucky to have the big stack. He actually had 9J of diamonds and beat me with a flush ...

I never thought he would move all-in with a flush draw ... wait ... writing this makes me think that he might be afraid of the A of K of diamonds ... that's why he moved all-in ...
Knowing this would you still call?

The real decision in this hand is whether to lead or check/push. I like c/r better but I can't really explain it. Feels like it gets more money in..

    Good point Johnny:

My move would be c/r'ing for the same reason. It may just take down the pot without him calling your reraise allin, and you get a few more chips from this fold. If he ends up rereaising for your stack, I'm still confident with my outs/odds I mentioned above anyway.
