I wait for a spot to open push (even if it is from UTG). At the $11 tourneys these idiots will limp/call your push with Ax where x > 3.

i dontthink a push is that bad but i do need a read. i would pay attention to any strange pf action earlier. if i have seen him limp QJ, K high hands ill push.

You can't wait any longer, 500 in pot, easy push.

I recall thinking that the CO limping didn't really mean a whole lot of strength to me, so I pushed. Without the limp, I'm pretty much pushing any two here if I haven't been overly aggressive in the preceeding hands, and even then I'm probably still pushing. I never know what to do when there is a limper ahead of me.

I would probably push here as well. Theres a good chance that everyone will fold and you will pick up a nice pot, or that your probably ahead if hes limping KQ, KJ, QJ. I think this is a +ev push.

OK, I ran this through SNG Wizard with the following assumptions:

    - CO limps with 30% (22+,A2+,K8+,K4s+,QJ+,Q9s+,JTs+) and calls Hero's push with 22% (33+,A4+,A2s+,KJ+,KTs+,QJs+).
    - The blinds call with 20% (33+,A4+,A2s+,KQ+,KTs+).

Using these ranges, Hero's push is -0.8% EV. The problem is that using these ranges Hero only gets folds from everybody ~20% of the time and is a 30/70 underdog to most of the hands that they will call with.

Happy to run this again with different ranges if anybody thinks my ranges are wrong.

I'm not sure that this would make the push +EV but I think you can take the following out of the CO's range: AJs+, AQ+, TT+, because I felt pretty strongly that these would get raised preflop. It probably won't make the push +EV, but I imagine this would make it a little closer though.

Also Taipan, I'm thinking of investing in SNG Wizard. Would you recommend it over SNG PT? Right now, I'm not using any additional software. Would you recommend SNG Wizard as a good first tool? It looks pretty awesome to me.

Download both and play with them (SNG Wiz has a 30 day free trial, SNGPT allows you to run a tutorial before committing). I have SNGPT but am thinking of paying for SNG Wiz.

Each has its positives and negatives. Main negative of SNGPT is that it can't analyse situations where you're not open pushing all-in or calling an all-in (eg. if somebody limps or raises in front). Main negative of SNG Wizard is that the default calling ranges are way too loose IMO and sometimes can't be changed.
