    Default Really Interesting Hand

Ok, so this is from the nightly $100 buy in Deep Stack 6-max 25K guaranteed on Full Tilt. The overall skill level is top of the line in this tourney. You frequently find yourself at a table full of extreme sharks.

Anyhow, I'd like some commentary on this hand...

Villain is the most aggressive player in position at the table. He's not maniac aggressive, but certainly doesn't limp reasonable hands with initiative. He plays very well after the flop. Protects his hands etc etc. Straight up with a spin. Seems to take stabs into weakness typical of a good opponent not looking to donk off. Villains reasonable opinion of me is that I'm a tricky aggressive player very capable of stealing pots at every reasonable opportunity when I get involved.

    Villain SB (8500)
    Hero BB (5200)
    Blinds 80/160

    Hero holds

Folds around to Villain who makes it 500 to go. Hero calls with an advantage on range with position. Pot 1000.

    Flop:

Villain bets 600. Hero raises to 1500. Villain thinks for a bit and calls. Pot 4000. Hero has 3200 or so behind

    Turn:

    Villain donk bets 3000.
    Hero: ???
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

That's the point I was going to make. If he has AT+ he's bluffing with the best hand.

Well I may be overstating the tourney strength a bit, but every time I start the thing I can look up every player at my table and see that they made like 100K the year before, or play 2000NL or above. It's been silly that way. Maybe I'm getting seated at tough tables. Lately I've been seated against Tuan Lee, Apestyles, Action Jeff two times, and the online tourney player of the year from last year or some shit. I busted that bitch. Lol.

Anyway, I see what you're saying about the hand, and the fact that he may be bluffing the best hand, but in that case he would have to put me on exactly a draw holding AT-AK, wouldn't he? Otherwise he would check call down, since I stole initiative.

For the record I did fold, and he flipped JT spades (same suit as me), before saying "Come and get it".

The 6 is a perfect scare card for him.

When you reraise that flop he should reasonably put you on the 7, a higher pair (or better), or a draw which you are semi-bluffing on.

When he calls, he thinks you should put him on two overs, a draw, or a pair on the board and he is willing to see the turn.

When the 6 comes and he bets he is representing that he has a piece of the board (and maybe even the 6) and he thinks you are on a draw.

He is also using his stack advantage and a relatively harmless board way to his advantage.

If this guy is smart, he knows there is no way he should bet the turn with a hand.
    I like the push/call.

I don't see how you can possibly call with A9 there.
