There is 740 in the pot when it gets to you. By minraising you give him 3.6 to 1 odds to call if he is chasing the flush. I make it 750 to go here and call any push.

Almost all minraises are a bad strat, I'd avoid them whenever possible.

I have added "stop minirasing" to pre-New Year resoultions.

Ive also written "no more mini-raises" 500 times on the chalkboard

The only time I will minraise is when I raise preflop or called a raise, am in position postflop, flop a non-vulnerable monster hand (FH or nut flush on a non-paired flop) and opp leads for 1/2-2/3 the pot. In this situation I might minraise to induce a push over.

Jman: every time the action is to you, it's an opportunity for you to make the perfect play.

I like to minraise over c-bets a lot when I also miss the flop.
usually 1 of 3 things happen:
    1. You get reraised and get out pretty cheaply
    2. Villian folds (often even if he have odds for his 2 overs)
    3. Villians thinks and calls, and you take it down with an agressive bet on the turn
