I have automuck on so I never show. Sometimes I tell people in the chat box what I had if they ask (and only sometimes do I tell the truth ).

i never show or say my hand in chat. a lot of times when i know i have a terrible image from stealing the blinds and finally pick up AK, steal again and get folds i have the urge to show. but that might make them think all the other times i stole with complete trash.

giving away information can probably be exploited in your benefit in live play because you have a better idea of how your opponents are feeling about your table image, etc. online its probably better that you try to reveal as little info as possible

I rarely show, if it is an opponent I respect and he makes a tough fold I show if asked (I know ots a leak)

I often lie about what im holding in chat so oppos think that i've had a hand. They have no reason to believe im lying so they'll think thats what you had.

Nobody thinks it's ok to show in certain situations? At the PS $6.50 turbo's I start to show my good hands that I push with when the blinds start getting large (75/150), and it's been amazing how much respect the other players give me when I do continue to raise.

why not? its not like they would play the hand any differently. i do probably show too often in other sits though.

I find this annoying alot of the time. Someone will get a walk on their bb and they flip over like AJ or something...
