I could call this here given the size of the pot. I'm not worried about the straight as much as I am about the flush but he can still have a hand like AJ here and do the same shit.

To make your decision better I think you should overbet the flop and turn here if you think you are ahead. Say something like Full pot on the flop and $100 on turn, especially with three opponents in the hand.

OR, i'm checking the turn here hoping villain will either 1) bluff a worse hand or 2) keep the post small enough and give me a good price to call.

Bluffing with a showdownable hand is a pretty sophisticated play, especially one as strong as TPTK, I don't think hardly any 1/2 players have that in their repoutoire. If villain was going to bluff, I'm sure he'd bet more 1/3 pot on the river. Looks just like he wants to get any money he can from us. If he really thinks he has to bluff the river then I don't see why he calls the turn in the first place unless he thinks his hand is good. Even if this is AJ occasionally, it's certainly not often enough to call.

How often do you see the nut flush here push the river? I could see a call here if there was a read.

How much would you be willing to pay to see a showdown here?

I've seen a lot of regulars in that game make strange river bets, including trying to make weak value bets with lukewarm hands in spots like this because they figure they have an easy fold to a check/raise.

However, without any fucking read whatsoever I can't call here.

It would be really, really badass if you c/r'd allin and got him off a 9. I do not recommend that you do this, as it's never worked for me in comparable spots.

Sometimes I call here and I'm approximately 0/infinity on making the right play. Generally, when I fold, they show me , but such is life.

I think folding is the best play here.
