    Default A couple general questions

Ok, so far I've been owned by 50NL 6max and taken some bad beats and some such, so I went through my first 2,000 hands. I looked at all the hands win/lose where most or all of the money got in before the river.

So far I've had 6 such hands, 3 of them all-ins. I was 85% favorite or better in all of these and my stake in these pots was $294 of $342. I won none of these (split for $50). So not great success.

Anyway, my questions are (despite small sample size):

    1) Is this standard swing stuff you regulars see in 6max?
    2) What does it say about me that I've only had 6 hands that got this much money in before the river
    3) What does it say that I've only had 3 all-ins in 2,000 hands?
(not counting 20BB shortstacks, just deep stacks)

Kind of a sanity check, cause so far winning 0% of these hands where I'm an +85% favorite is going to take a long time to normalize. Don't take this as a bad beat post, I have plenty of hands in my db that I played badly and I realize this. Few bad chases, some iffy river calls. Just going a little bonkers cause if I'd only won half these I would be atleast break even despite the other bad play.

    1.) Yes
    2.) Not much
3.) You haven't been getting in favorable spots most likely, that's variance.

2k hands is nothing, play more and you'll see why.

Ok. Well I just wanted to check to make sure I'm not being to passive. I got more reviewing to do. I think I'll find I'll have to fire more 2nd barrels for sure. I am surprised by how many guys will float with bottom pair and the hands people will call raises with. ie K4 offsuit.

The guys with the biggest stacks seem to be good at playing random stuff, low, mid pair and pushing guys off hands, yet having good stuff at showdown enough to stack people.

    3) That's online poker. Players in these games don't go deep as often as the live fish.
