Default how bad and how close were the pot odds?

I had been super aggressive heads up and bullied with a very good run of cards/hit flops. I think i had won the last 8 maybe more hands and then got dealt a load of pap and decided to continue aggressing.

How close are the odds? I think i should have folded because he might have had a pair but to counter that given the fact i had given him no room, putting him allin a lot, I also thought he could fight back with anything.

    Villain has $4,260
godamnwarhero has $13,740 and has 4c 7d + the dealer button
    bb is 400

    godamnwarhero/loon raised to 1,500
villain thinks and sweats (or pauses for dramatic affect) for ages then goes allin.

I was then faced with 5,760 pot and 2,760 to call. Villain ends up with 8,520 if i call and lose OR 5.7k if i fold.

Is this terrible? Or if i assume he has AK instead of a pair is this reasonable?

It's definately reasonable to put him on AK, I think Id even push here with A6, since you have ben showing a lot of agression. Id put him on the range of all pps, A6o+, K6o+, Q7o+, J8o+ and 9 10. (Tell me if thats an unreasonable range)

With that range, I think you are pretty much a dog, even for 2.0-2.1 odds.

I think you should just shove or fold preflop so you don't have this decision.

he had AQ and if I had known his cards I would have called in this instance.

As u say, I realise my main mistake was preflop. I should have folded then.

However if i wanted to be aggressive I should have raised to 1200 leaving myself an easier fold if he went allin or I should have raised to 1800+ to give myself an easier call. As it was I left myself needing a big think.

I agree that I don't like the size of your raise preflop.

After his play, I think I fold, simply because I think I can do more with the chiplead against an opp who has let me run him over than I can making a marginal pot odds call.
