HH - bubble of $13 6 seater on stars

[Random_Hero]

I like these 6 seater tourneys and more often than not i'll make the money. Once I get my bankroll back I might try and build it up to play these exclusively.

Anyway, now that im just a mere bystander until further notice, Im going to study the game a lot more and go over some HH.

Heres the bubble of a 6 seater I recently won and would like comments if anyone has the time to go through it all. cheers in advance.

Was I too aggressive/wreckless in some hands? Or was it the correct way to play on the bubble?
A lot of hands I should have just pushed but oppos were folding to raises so I decided to stick with raises instead of pushes. was this a good idea or should I be maximizing my FE all the time?

Hand 6 you have better than 3-1 on your call. You shouldn't have raised, but you're priced in now. Keep this in mind. Sometimes you raise a weak hand, and have no choice but to call an odds giving push with it. That fold was really bad.

I've noticed a lot that I dont take pot odds into consideration.
Am going to work the pot odds out on every hand from now on!

Iv'e always been quick to act and a leak I know I have to fix is too slow down and look at the whole hand on EVERY hand I play. pot odds, outs, oppos hand range etc etc. I seem to act really fast which can often cost me chips.

Overall, I think you are being too tight/passive preflop. On the bubble, and particularly with the big stack, you need to be raising more aggressively, particularly when you're folded to in the SB. Hands like K8, A4 etc. are good raising hands from the button and Q7, JT etc are good from the SB. Basically, any hand you're playing you should be raising.

43. 63o - fold flop. You burned 900 chips here with bottom pair against the big stack!

41. 55 - Too passive, raise preflop. With 55 I might even just push here to put the short stack AI.

39. 54s - Raise or fold preflop. If you want to bluff, do it on the turn not the river IMO.

36-38 - Good

[Qh 4c] SB (M=1.#J; f+F) - potential steal raise?

34. KTs - bet the flop, don't give a free card that might beat you. I would much rather bet the flop rather than the turn particularly when the A comes - Ax has to be within button's limp/call range.

30. A7 - fine

29. K2o - I don't like this steal raise from the BB with a crap hand like K2 against the big stack. As played, ballsy flop push, lucky it worked! I guess that flop was unlikely to have hit Villain.

26. K3o - I would have bet a little less on the turn, there's no need to overbet when you hit your trips. There is 1400 in the pot, 800 is plenty.

1. QJo - I fold this preflop. QJ has poor showdown value against the range that a passive player like your opp might be raising.

IMO, bubble aggression is one of the key to SNGs, particularly when you have the big stack. So many players at the low buyins are scared of bubbling such that they tighten up way too much making it very easy so steal their blinds. The more they tighten up, the more aggressively I raise until they start pushing back. If I have the big stack on the bubble I will often push virtually every hand if these guys keep on folding. Even if they push back and you have to fold, well, you've only given back some of their own chips. Plus there's the advantage of when you pick up a monster and raise/shove, they won't believe you...

It's very situational...but when folded to in the SB it is often correct to raise (or push if you or your opp have <10x BB) any two cards on the bubble.

I think I feel that if I keep raising and raising with any 2 eventually when I'll get looked up and have to lay it down, which is a nuisance when the blinds are big.
