    Default Hmmmmm

    6 seater, level 1, blinds 20/40

    Stacks approx:
    Villain 1 UTG: 2200
    Villain 2 Button: 4500
    Villain 3 SB: 400
    Hero BB: 1600

Villain 1: Haven't seen too much from this guy yet

Villain 2: Has minraised pf the last 4 hands or so. Total idiot (see below also).

Villain 3, too aggressive, has been raising a lot and has taken down his pots witout a fight postflop. We haven't been involved in a hand together. He just lost most of his stack when he reriased Vilain 1's stupid pf minraise and pushed all in on a flop of TTx with KJ, called by Villain 1 with A high.

Hero: After villain 3 lost most of his stack, he pushed the next hand from UTG+1 with Q3s, I called next to act with A5s but was outdrawn. Apart from that, I haven't played a hand that wasn't out of the blinds.

    The hand;

    Stacks approx:
    Villain 1 UTG: 2200
    Villain 2 Button: 4500
    Villain 3 SB: 400
    Hero BB: 1600

    Dealt to Hero 44

Viallin 1 limps (not sure what this means), villain 2 limps (any two cards), villain 3 pushes (I fully expected this, any two). Hero?

I am definitely ahead of Villains 2 and 3. It's quite likely that I'm coinflipping with villain 3 regardless, but I'm ok with that for 400 chips. What I would like to do is push to isolate. So that's what I did. Thoughts?

If you're going to play your 44, raise to get the limpers out. Even then, realize that you are likely facing a flip for 1/4 of your stack and are looking to be tied for shortstack if you lose the race.

I know, I pushed. I really think I have the best hand here. Is it still a bad move?

flop of TTx with KJ, called by Villain 1 with A high.
you've seen enough of villian 1 to know he called here, you have to be very worried he'll call again.

villain 3 pushes (I fully expected this, any two)
You aren't the only one who knows this.

blinds are 20/40 this guy pushed 10x, that is plenty to isolate. Call the push if you want, but don't shove, you are just begging to get picked off by a slow play. All so that you can hopefully flip or maybe be crushed. I would just fold.

Sorry, I made a mess of my original post. CHanges in bold.

Villain 3, too aggressive, has been raising a lot and has taken down his pots witout a fight postflop. We haven't been involved in a hand together. He just lost most of his stack when he reriased Vilain 2's stupid pf minraise and pushed all in on a flop of TTx with KJ, called by Villain 2 with A high.

    Anyway, results

I pushed, Villain 1 called with AQo, Villain 2 folded, Villain 3 had AJo

So I did actually get it in with the best hand. I think I'm 43% to win (can't remember exactly but I checked earlier). Loose call by villain 1? I think he had limped planning on calling villain 3's push and then got a bit p!ssed when I pushed.

I think I should have folded.

I can understand your logic in wanting to isolate. However, any limper must be anticipating the push from villain 3, and as such will also call your push.

I'd have folded 44 here and let someone else deal with reducing the size of the table. You don't desperately need the chips, and if you lose you make yourself either very short stack 3 handed, or you allow villain 3 back into the game.

Easy fold. You're not a huge favourite vs. shortie's range and there are 2 left to act.

With 44 there are very few hand you are ahead of, 2x and 3x only.
I would fold here, you are flipping at best with villian 3 and will be flipping or behind if someone calls, blinds are low, stacks are deep, pick a better spot

I'm definitely folding this at level 1. Limping if its cheap looking for a set etc
