PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    SB (t1460)
    BB (t2620)
    Hero (t1710)
    MP1 (t1650)
    MP2 (t1395)
    CO (t1395)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, A.
Hero raises to t200, 5 folds, BB calls t150.

    Flop: (t425) K, 7, J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t300, BB calls t300.

    Turn: (t1025) T (2 players)
    BB checks, Hero checks.

    River: (t1025) T (2 players)
    BB bets t700, Hero folds.

    Final Pot: t1725

BACK TO BASICS LEG. Blinds go up next hand so just calling the river is kinda silly. I have no reads because I can't even see all of the tables so I have no idea about this guy. Shove the turn for better or for worse?

150 to go preflop, no need to make it 4x BB here. 3x will get exactly the same calls/folds that 4x will.

I play the same as you postflop. I'd say you're beat by the flush or (much less likely) runner runner trip Ts. If the turn had come a non-spade I would have just shoved though.

At bb=50, I think people are more likely to call 3bb as opposed to 4bb. I like the raise to 200. I don't go 3bb unless bb=100, and then I go 2.5bb when bb=150+.

given you are ahead of callers range, if they call 200 why not make it 200?

Because Hero might not want to play a big pot when he's (potentially) OOP for the rest of the hand, and raising less keeps the pot smaller if he wants to c-bet if he misses the flop?

meh. You can't quantify that with numbers. Plus, I can make the same arguement in reverse that the larger the pot is, the more likely you are to get paid off by a second best hand.

i play it the same...dont think too many people have to balls to do this with something like k9/jx
