Differences between $1+0.1 and $5+0.5 SnGs?

I've been willing to invest only a tiny amount (~30$) to start my glorius poker career (cheapskate). First I lost everything but now I'm getting results on UltimateBet's 1+0.1 SnGs, mostly because I've done my homework and HOH. If I win at this rate I'm gonna move up real soon.

Is the level of play significantly higher on 5/0.5?

In the last 10 STT SnGs I've played (I know about variance) my ITM-% is 80% and ROI is 182%. I'm noticing I'm getting better all the time...

Also... I read from somewhere on FTR that UltimateBet's SnG players are better than average. Is this applicable to lower buy-ins as well? Should I move my arse to stars or party when I change the level?

I've played online poker only about 1,5 months so pardon me if I sound noobish.

never played the $1's but the play at $5's is probably not much different.

your not rolled for the $5's though. take some shots when your over $60.

No, don't move to party until 10, their rake sucks. All players at all sites in 5 dollar SNGs are bad, so there is no reason to pay the higher rake. Same at ten, but you might see more SNGs running at party, the UB SNG scene is pretty weak.

Wait until you have at least 20 buyins before you move up, unless you can reload.

ugh a long time, say over a year but less than year and a half.

deposited 100 on UB grew to 450 (playing $5 till i reached 200 then $10)
moved to PP $20 and dropped 250 in no time.
then i did some weird thing by depositing another 100 on another site to get an easy bonus until i brought it all together on stars and blew up to where i am playing $16 turbos.

so 200 into 1100 with alot of graft. starting off low aint easy.tho im happy i never busted but i did use BR management since i could reload my account.
