    Default Bet this river?

This is very very early on, maybe only 3rd hand. A little info on the villain- this is what happened last hand:

Villain limps UTG with AJ0, CO limps, I limp in SB, BB raises to 340, villain calls, everyone else folds.

    Flop (800) AsJsx
BB checks, Villain bets 80 lol, BB calls.

    Turn(960) Some raggy brick
BB checks, Villain bets 80, BB calls

    River another brick
BB open pushes with TT, villain takes it down.

So you can see he's a silly ol' villain. Now,

Holdem No Limit - $40 BB

    BB ($4,080) [Villain]
    UTG ($1,840)
    CO ($1,480)
    Button ($2,700) [Hero]
    SB ($1,900)

Hero is Button with Q, K
    Preflop: (5 players, $60)
2 folds, Hero calls 40 and raises 100, SB folds, BB calls 100

    Flop: T, K, 5 (2 players, $300)
BB bets 80, Hero calls 80 and raises 200, BB calls 200

    Turn: 6 (2 players, $860)
BB checks, Hero bets 600, BB calls 600

    River: 7 (2 players, $2060)
    BB checks, Hero?

Preflop is fine. On the flop your raise is not big enough, there is 380 in the pot when it gets to you, raise to 350 or so to price out the draws. On the turn, please check behind once your flop raise is called! If I checked behind I would call a small bet on the river and fold to a large one.

Raise to chase out the draws and then check the turn to give him a free card?

He's a donk. Donks should be taken to value town. Bet 800-1000.

Other than that, I like Taipan's line. No need to go for the homerun with TPGK and 70bb.

I checked behind fearing he had Kragged 2pair. He had K9s. I could have gotten more out of him.

What he said, I have lost stacks and stacks of chips going to war with KQ, K/Q on flop and an opp that won't go away.

Are you saying check the turn and bet 800-100 on the river? (just to be clear)

To answer your question "bet this river?" my answer is no, check behind. Most of the time you take it but when you don't at least you aren't busted early.
