    Default hand

    The villian just sat down, no reads. He check raised pushed instantly so I thinking he had a draw or was bluffing me for my small bet. What do you think?

    I don't have a problem betting here, although I usually check this turn behind since it will draw an auto-bet on any river card from a lot of the player pool in my game.

    Once you bet it and get slammed, it comes down to the question "do you want to gamble here against this guy." There really isn't a magic answer there.

    i have come to prefer to wait this out for a much better spot. if he's truly an over aggro donk bluffing here on first orbit like that, he will do it again. probably in the next two hands. if after a couple more orbits he doesn't do anything remotely close to it, it usually means you made a good laydown.

    over aggro overbet bluff donks are some of the most consistent players out there, paradoxically enough. they give you plenty of opportunities and don't discriminate.
