Default Call pre flop with KK, is it ever justified?

6 seat $11 sng NL HE, 3 players in and blinds at 50/100. Villain uber aggressive and had pushed on lots of pre flop/flops even when pots were small and blinds still 20/40. He got lucky a couple of times after being called, flipped something ridiculous like 93o and managed to beat JJ!! He tended to fold to pre flop raises, but hammered limpers with pre flop/flop push. Hero is Btn, villain is big blind. I only called to ensure villain didnt fold knowing that he would be likely to push it in at some point with air. I know this contravenes the 'don't just call' mantra, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

    Seat 4 is the button
Total number of players : 3
    Seat 5: ( $4030 )
    Seat 4: Hero ( $4000 )
    Seat 6: Villain( $3970 )
    Trny: 30488468 Level: 3
    Blinds(50/100)
    ** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to Hero [ Kh Ks ]
    Hero calls [100]
    Seat 5 folds
    Villain checks
    ** Dealing Flop ** [ Qs, 7c, Kc ]
    Villain bets [250]
    Hero calls [250]
    ** Dealing Turn ** [ 9h ]
    Villain bets [1425]
    Hero is all-In [3650]
    Villain is all-In [2195]
    ** Dealing River ** [ 5c ]
Villain shows [ Kd, Js ]a pair of Kings.
Hero shows [ Kh, Ks ]three of a kind, Kings.

Hero wins 7990 chips from the main pot with three of a kind, Kings.

Is this a good play given villains playing style, or does the risk of him making a hand with rag, or Ax on the flop make it too risky?

With only 3 left + your reads i think its an excellent play. You raise with KK,AA to isolate. If you are pretty sure there wil only by you too, let him hang himself.
This is not my signature. I just write this at the bottom of every post.

Yeah against a hyper aggresive opponent like this 1 strategy is to just check hands and let him push you off, you don't lose many chips and when you pick up a good hand and check it you can get his stack. Mix it up with some raises with weak hands if he's folding pf. Also against someone who bets every flop you can try disregarding top pair when looking at the board and play back at him.
Must get more aggressive - Tonight we dine in $25NL! rah rah rah! etc
