    Default $16 SNG - HH trimmed - help needed!

    Guys,

    Could you have a look at this HH?
    After reviewing some of my plays on the $16 I think that my main problem is a lack of agression nearing the bubble. What do you think?

    Thanks!

    I think this was an OK, no?
  2. #2
    1. AKo - 100 to go preflop with the limper in front. Flop is fine, perfect sized bet.

    2. QJo - limping behind with all those limpers isn't terrible but I would prefer it if it was QJs rather than QJo. On the flop, why fold? You hit top pair good kicker on a drawy flop, I would be raising this - make it 250 or so to go and shut down if called. I can sort of see why you folded though, with 5 opps seeing the flop TPGK isn't a hand you want to commit your stack with. That said, I would still have taken a stab. Other opinions are welcome on this though!

    3. QQ - I make it 150 to go. Your hand can stand some action.

    4. 64o - I think I need 9:1 or 11:1 to call this rather than 7:1. 64s I would call though.

    5. KQs - standard, particularly with the bigger stacks out of the way.

    6. KQo - fold this. You don't want to be calling UTG pushes with KQ, you're likely a 40/60 underdog to Ax and could well be dominated. You definitely don't want to call if he's been pushing Ax, you're behind this hand! This is very different to hand 5 because you're calling an all-in rather than pushing all-in yourself:

    Code:
            	equity (%)  	win (%)	tie (%)
    Hand  1:	57.1942 %  	55.29% 	01.90%      { 22+, A2s+, KJs+, QJs, A2o+, KJo+, QJo }
    Hand  2:	42.8058 %  	40.90% 	01.90%      { KQo }
    7. A9o - very lucky for you that you got your stack back!

    10. A2o - shove it back in his face unless this is the first time he's completed. Your hand has poor postflop value, you want to take this down preflop.

    [4h 8s] CO (M=3.20; f+F)
    [9s Jh] UTG (M=3.14; F) - these ones may be shoves, can't tell without the stack sizes though.

    11. T3o - standard push.

    Thanks for the comments Tai!

I can sort of see why you folded though, with 5 opps seeing the flop TPGK isn't a hand you want to commit your stack with. That said, I would still have taken a stab. Other opinions are welcome on this though!
    I agree that this was weak, but my reasoning is that wit 5 guys on the flop, I'll mostly be behind here if someone has trips, two pairs of KJ/AJ.
    This early in the tourney I prefer to fold this. However, seeing again my stack size i.e. 1625, I could have tried to take down the pot with something like 250 ...

    I can see the mistake here ...

    I have to be more aggressive, expecially with a low stack ...
