    Default $11 - $4000 Guaranteed

    Guys,

I've been very tight, it's the second hand I play. Villain seemed to be solid.
After his re-raise I could only put him on top pair, two pairs, a straight or a bluff.
    What would you do here?

(I've tried to use the convertor but it does not work with this site's HH)

Fold. If the villain was solid then top pair is unlikely. Villain would not have over-called the flop. A set or straight is likely here, or possibly two pair, which also has you way behind since you have bottom two. You are only beating a bluff raise here, which is unlikely as this would be a terrible spot for the villain to bluff.
There's three types of people in the world...those who can count, and those who can't.

The only thing I think your beating is if he had something like J8 of hearts and just picked up a monster draw, or if he has 9 6.

I think this is a fold and I don't even think it is very close at all. You're either very slightly ahead(Khxh/9hxh) and much more likely to be crushed and drawing to 2 or4 outs.

    Thanks for the comments guys!

Thinking about it again, he raised more 1000 chips on the turn due to the possible flush there.
I actually called and he showed QJo. However, this was a bad call from him on the flop wasn't it? He was having something like 3.2-1 for the pot and a little bit more 4-1 to hit his straight.
Anyway, I felt that I was pot committed and having something like 4.6-1 for the pot, and for me he would bluff at least once out of four re-raises, so I called.

    Was this a bad reasonning?

preflop/flop is fine. Check the turn en give up to serious aggression.
