    Downswinging holla!
Hand 1: Turn raise is spew. Just call turn or even fold.

    Hand 2: Standard

Hand 3: Not a huge fan of reraising an UTG raiser OOP with AQ, but I suppose it's ok. Easy flop bet for sure on that flop.

Don't you find that people fold a lot easier on the turn, compared to on the flop?

Well no of course not, but it is definitely not the type of hand that I want to go to showdown with.

    Waiting in the shadows ...
    Hand 1 - I agree with gabe.

    If he's raising the blind a lot, I 3bet pre-flop.

For another reason to raise flop instead of turn; small pots for small hands.

Huh?!?!? You have Queens top fucking pair in a heads-up SB vs BB pot. What the hell kinds of hands are you looking to showdown?

Opponent is a multi-tabling TAgg I guess. He bets a lot but has no heart. I've been giving him a bit of grief all night.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    CO ($82.60)
    Button ($67.05)
    SB ($237.15)
    Fnord ($633.35)
    UTG ($193.80)
    MP ($571.65)

Preflop: Fnord is BB with 3, A.
4 folds, SB raises to $6, Fnord calls $4.

    Flop: ($12) 9, 9, 5 (2 players)
SB bets $8, Fnord calls $8.

    Turn: ($28) A (2 players)
SB bets $22, Fnord calls $22.

    River: ($72) 7 (2 players)
    SB checks, Fnord checks.

    Final Pot: $72

    Results in white below:
SB has 6h 4h (one pair, nines).
Fnord has 3c Ah (two pair, aces and nines).
    Outcome: Fnord wins $72.

    Very good point....
I guess I have got a lot to learn.
I always give my opponents way too much respect.

First hand, just raise the flop and get the hand over with. The turn raise sucks. You should either call or fold.

Second hand is standard. Sometimes I'll just call here and other times reraise. Pretty much anything other than folding is fine.

Third hand, high variance play, but it's not terrible. I usually just call here.

Why the raise on the turn in hand 1?

The others I feel are fairly standard really, but I do agree that Id be careful reraising an UTG raiser with AQ OOP.

You can make a lot more money check-calling A-high flops w AQ than reraising it preflop and playing it OOP (AJ and A10 will rarely put you on a better ace).

Having it in your reraising range is fine but when you're called usually you're hoping not to hit an ace (unless villain is mentally challenged)...
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

He bets a lot but has no heart.
I read this and thought "oh shit, it's me". But luckily, I don't play $200NL at PS. Actually, I don't multitable either... but still, it rang true.

I dont think you need to defend blinds at low stakes NL. Well this seems to be the wrong way about it... To counter his wide opening range just 3bet pot more from the blinds with 99+ and rare junk (for shania). Also raise PF lots yourself...

I think instead of picking up blinds, at NL the reason we raise wide in LP is more for generating an image than picking up less than 1bigbet.
    Experimenting - 200NL 5max.

I couldn't disagree more, particularly from the SB. There are spots against opponents when it's insta-profit. Even if it's 50 cents, that adds up fast.

Crushing a game means you don't pass on any edge.
