Default What is it about 6max?

I'm finding that once we get down to 4 players, play becomes really tight and then all hell breaks loose on the bubble.

What's a good strategy for 4 handed? It generally occurs at level 2 when blinds are still small.

    It depends. Describe the opponents.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

Wha? You playing < $5? Having 4 players left at blind level 2 is a SnG player's wet dream.

Play poker, you have the stack. If everyone is loose and wild then just sit tight and wait for a confrontation to knock someone out. Definitely don't risk your stack on coin-flips.

Opponents? Donkish calling stations of course. Seriously. There might be the odd tight guy or mabe once every 1,000,000 or so there is a 'good' player.

limp a lot of speculative hands
-if they are post-flop calling stations, don't bet unless your hand hits
-if they are tight post-flop bet if: you catch a piece of the flop, you have 2 overcards, you have a draw, it looks scary, you're in position

raise good hands pre-flop for value
-If they're loose post-flop calling stations be ready to felt TPTK, over pairs

    These are opposites

When you say all hell breaks loose on the bubble, do you mean when it's down to 3? Do some ICM with the top 2 payout structure. I'm not what effect it has on bubble play.

Yeah sorry, I phrased that badly. Now I can't articulate what I'm trying to say.
