Default chasing after small bet on scary flop

Was it ok to chase my boat here? There were a couple of holdings that would beat me on the flop. But villains small bet convinced me to stay in the hand. And should I have bet more on the river? His check was a sign of weakness to me and I thought he might not call a higher bet.

You are not getting the odds, but I can't fold to that weak bet so I would call.

Villain only has 600 behind on river right? Just put him in.

you can feel safe more or less never betting smaller than you did the previous street.

You aren't calling to hit a boat, you're calling because he can easily make this weird weird bet wiht something less than TT. The chance you could improve is just a bonus.

Limp behind preflop with blinds this small.

As played, I might c-raise this flop to 400, if he re-raises you obviously let it go, if he calls I'm not putting in any more chips unless I improve.

On the river, why did you leave yourself with 390 behind? I would have just gotten it all in on the river. If he will call a 300 bet he'll call 690 given the pot size. Plus a push looks more like a bluff and may be more likely to be called.
