    Default AQ & C-bet - Is This Standard?

    Is this OK or what?

    Full Tilt Poker
    No Limit Holdem Tournament
    Blinds: t40/t80
    6 players
    Converter

    Stack sizes:
    UTG: t3255
    Hero: t1570
    CO: t1580
    Button: t1395
    SB: t4000
    BB: t1700

    Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with
    UTG folds, Hero raises to t240, CO folds, Button calls t240 (pot was t360), 2 folds.

    Flop: (t600, 2 players)
    Hero bets t400

    i think this is fine. if villain is a total nit, i probly check behind, but against a normal villain, this is standard.
    eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

    Standard, I would expect to take it down most times on the flop. What buyin is this?

    hey thanks. i used to only play these friggin things. been outta the game for a long time. gonna be playin mtt, sng, and ring for a bit now. this is a $10 buy-in. i'm starting off low for a bit to get my bearings.

    Unless your table has been calling preflop raises like crazy, I like raising to only 200 preflop. That makes the pot 500 on the flop and gives me the option to c bet only 250 or 300, preserving more of my chips and making it easier to give up the pot to resistance.
