Default AQo, late in a 180

Villain seems so far to be a standard rock. He hasn't shown down a hand in 30 minutes and I took 1/3rd his chips about 15 minutes prior to this hand.

I'm currently 3rd out of 24 players remaining.

Comments on all streets will be appreciated:

Bet more on the flop or check. Fold if he shoves river.

i think you should bet 1500 on the river, as a block. he either has a T or a 7, less likely an A. If he has a T or and A he's calling, a 7 will raise, and you can get out.

Based on the action, how often am I ahead here on the river?

By the river villain's stack was around 10,000 so my 4,000 bet was a valuebet/call push. Considering this information would you bet differently on flop or more importantly the turn for pot control?

How do you imagine this villain would play TT or AT throughout the hand when the river hits and you have a decision to make. That's pretty much what you're thinking about.

Of the hands beating you, I can only see TT playing the hand out this way, and the hands you're ahead of are in a weak range given the progression of the hand overall. Everything leans towards a small river value bet and folding to a push.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

a 'standard rock' would never shove the river with a hand that doesn't beat AQ. He has a PP, so if he shoves river it means he made a boat.

OK i agree a small river bet and fold to a push is a good play.

    Results: Villain had 77
