    I'd rather bet river and fold to a raise

    if he's a calling station there's still value to be had from this hand. If he raises you can toss your hand pretty quickly.

    Checking the river makes it very very tough to play since he could be betting missed hearts or a donkey hand like QJ (although you didn't mention anything about his bet patterns when he bets for value).

    Is KJ really all that likely?
    when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

    Actually now that I think of it I only got the calling station read after this hand. So just consider his stats.
