    Default 2/4 hand against gabe

This hand here had me thinking. Little setup, villain here is gabe and he is quite obviously gunning for me. The 3-bet pf here has nothing to do with this and is strictly for value against his very wide range. I've been 3-betting him with a good amount of frequency over a lot of tables, but always with a significantly tighter range then he's opening with. He has lead into me on the flop a couple times after I have 3-betted and havn't put up a whole lot of resistance to that line (he may have done it twice, possibly, and I folded both times). It's tough to put him on a range, although I could do my best.

Anyway, by the turn, I think he has a real hand here or is semi-bluffing the shit out of me. Comments on any street appreciated. He may also be trying to push me off a not-unlikely AQ/AK.

It's really hard to say anything here, i don't know how well you guys know each others play. A little description of Gabes play might be good.

uhh if you weren't raising like any ace, any 2 suited cards, any 2 semi-connected cards, any pair, any 2 cards that added up to 9 or higher, I would consider mucking this pre.

Given preflop and flop action, how often would Gabe expect you to fold the turn? Almost never imo. So that makes it unlikely Gabe's bluffing.

hard to answer, because while i see your point, he may just be having a good time since he often plays stakes 10x this.

He had 42 with the diamond draw. River blanks. :ship it:

uhhh, huge pot, less then a pot sized bet behind (with fold equity to boot), 15 effective nut outs. Seems like a ridiculously easy push. Your flop play is what reeks. Check/push is so much better, given that I will be betting the large majority of the time behind and having to fold a lot of my range to a push given how lightly I would 3-bet your CO opens from the button.

Oh yeah, expert call preflop with 4 high facing a pot sized reraise out of position.
