It's ridiculous to see how some people voted in the coaches/harris poll. One person actually voted Florida #1 over OSU to ensure they got into the title game. Other people voted Florida at #5 to try and get Michigan in there. Obviously people were voting based on what matchup they wanted to see, not actually voting the teams from best to worst.

Based on their resume, Florida deserved to be in the title game over Michigan even if Michigan is the better team. The BCS did what they had to do by putting Florida in there. If they put Michigan in there, they are basically admitting that the system is flawed (even if everyone already knows that it is). Although, I find it comical that the computers, which were created to form a completely objective opinion, had Florida and Michigan at exactly the same rating.

Another thing I'd like to add is that most of the arguements against Michigan being in the title game seem more like excuses than valid reasons.

The BCS did what it had to do. There were two deserving teams and one spot in the title game. Florida had the better resume, most people recognized that Michigan was the better team. Michigan got left out. Until the system is fixed, someone is gonna get left out. It happened two years ago when there were 3 undefeated teams and Auburn got left out and it will continue to happen until the worst system in sports gets changed.

Unfortunately, it probably won't get changed anytime soon and I'll give you four reasons why: Tostitos, FedEx, Allstate, and Citi. A playoff would cost college football millions of dollars and it's not gonna give that up anytime soon. We are stuck with this system and it's sad.

In the meantime, let's just enjoy watching #1 vs #3.
