Default Hands (warning, they're pretty bad)

Well, I can play well for like 2-3 hours, then it all goes downhill pretty quickly. These were all in like a 30 minute timespan between two tables.

Hand 1: No read on villain.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    SB ($120.40)
    BB ($126.40)
    Hero ($108.95)
    MP ($106.45)
    Button ($44.15)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A, K.
Hero raises to $4, MP calls $4, 2 folds, BB calls $3.

    Flop: ($12.50) 2, K, 7 (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $9, MP calls $9, BB folds.

    Turn: ($30.50) J (2 players)
Hero bets $20, MP calls $20.

    River: ($70.50) 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $30, MP raises to $73.45, Hero calls $43.45.

    Final Pot: $217.40

Is this not the easiest turn check in the world? Why am I doing this? I HAVE NO IDEA!

Hand 2: Again no reads, although I believe he's making a position play here.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    UTG ($103.10)
    MP ($98.20)
    CO ($94.60)
    Hero ($123.95)
    SB ($298.25)
    BB ($45.35)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T, A.
2 folds, CO raises to $4, Hero calls $4, 2 folds.

    Flop: ($9.50) 8, Q, 9 (2 players)
CO bets $6, Hero raises to $18, CO calls $12.

    Turn: ($45.50) A (2 players)
    CO checks, Hero checks.

    River: ($45.50) 9 (2 players)
CO bets $40, Hero calls $40.

    Final Pot: $125.50

Okay, I think calling preflop is not as good as 3betting him. If I think he is raising light I should repop him to $16. Otherwise his potsize river bet is a pretty easy fold without a read too.

Hand 3: UTG is pretty bad in this hand. He'll bet with air if you show weakness which is why I checked the flop. No read on BB...

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    Hero ($102.50)
    Button ($115.85)
    SB ($171.10)
    BB ($71.20)
    UTG ($206.45)

Preflop: Hero is MP with J, J.
UTG calls $1, Hero raises to $5, 2 folds, BB calls $4, UTG calls $4.

    Flop: ($15.50) A, 3, 5 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks.

    Turn: ($15.50) 2 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets $4, Hero calls $4, BB calls $4.

    River: ($27.50) A (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets $12, Hero calls $12, BB raises to $24, UTG folds, Hero folds.

    Final Pot: $75.50

The best thing to do is just bet the flop here in position. Don't give free cards and if I'm called I can give it up easy on the turn and river. Although I win the hand more if I bet, I only save $4 if villains still call my Cbet.

Hand 4: No read on Villain.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    BB ($121.40)
    UTG ($103.90)
    Hero ($131.95)
    Button ($106.45)
    SB ($44.65)

Preflop: Hero is MP with T, 9.
UTG raises to $4, Hero calls $4, 3 folds.

    Flop: ($9.50) 6, 9, 5 (2 players)
UTG bets $6, Hero calls $6.

    Turn: ($21.50) K (2 players)
UTG bets $13, Hero calls $13.

    River: ($47.50) 2 (2 players)
    UTG bets $30, Hero folds.

    Final Pot: $77.50

Well, I'm working on my positional play. I probably should have raised the pot on the flop or folded to the turn Cbet.

    Hand 5: Again no read.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    BB ($88.10)
    UTG ($97.20)
    MP ($169.75)
    Hero ($98.50)
    Button ($296.25)
    SB ($45.25)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9, 9.
UTG raises to $3, 1 fold, Hero calls $3, 3 folds.

    Flop: ($7.50) 6, 3, 7 (2 players)
UTG bets $4, Hero calls $4.

    Turn: ($15.50) 4 (2 players)
UTG bets $10, Hero calls $10.

    River: ($35.50) 2 (2 players)
    UTG bets $29, Hero folds.

    Final Pot: $64.50

Same type of hand as above. Villain doesnt exactly look like he hates this board. Raise the flop then fold if villain calls?

    1. donked, you know why
    2-3- fold river
    4-5-raise flop then shut down
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

I like very much. You definitly need to raise more imo, in general.

none of these are all that bad

maybe just fold river hand 3

don't spazz out on yourself or anything. If this is "you playing bad" then you're doing well.
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

    nutsinho :

why is hand 1 "donked"? What are villain's likely holdings that beat us?

    well, i prefer c/c on turn then b/f or c/c or c/f river depending on opponent/bet sizes/etc.
bet/folding turn is definitely not bad at all, but if we do that our river line needs to be anything but bet/call
