Villian has about $14 behind and I have villian covered, but a few things.

1. I think I'm totally fucking up with my flop and turn betting, in terms of it not being hard enough. Is potting the flop and 2/3rding the turn more appropriate here?

2. On the river, is a check/call best, or should I value bet? The hand feels like a smaller queen or maybe JT, but there's the freak chance for a made flush. I don't feel like by making top two on this river that I can get away from a set or a flush, though I think most of the time a set would of raised the turn. Seems like a check/call loses the least when I'm behind to a set (they probably won't stack off here), and possibly gets JT to try to bluff the flush.

Id bet $2 on the flop and closer to $4 on the turn, but your bets aren't really bad.

Any reads on your opponent? what sort of hands would he be calling down with? As played against most opponents I would push, but this may be a mistake on my part.

Since flop is so raggy it's WA/WB, hence bet isn't terrible. However, with bigger raises river would be easy push as villain would have less than PSB left.

As played, I check/call, I'm not sure what worse hands you get value from (unless you know he's an idiot, then obv push).

Is value betting like 5$ really gay here? We cant go much higher because I think it would scare villain away here. If he has the Q, the ace is a huge scare card for him, if you check, he checks? If he has J10 if you bet he folds, if you check he...bets or checks (read needed here).

That said I choose option 1 = gay 5$ bet because it says something like "I have a Q but am afraid of the aces as well" so he might call.

Villian actually called down with middle pair and made runner runner flush, but me wondering if I should check/call river wasn't really being results oriented. The idea spawned from me originally wondering if my betting on flop/turn was ok.
