I am playing in one of the $200 events as well (Sunday, 12/3). Although I have only been playing for about 4 months, it seems i have some fairly decent instincts that have aloud me to do pretty well so far (better than I expected). However, I get the feeling I will be completely outmatched once it starts (instincts). I feel like my technical knowledge has doubled since I found this site (just last week), but I am still months away from really 'getting' it.

Any advice for a rookie? Conference call during?

Yeah...wasn't $300k in overlay crazy?

I played all the NLHE events...bubbled three of them including the 1M; went out about halfway through the others.

it is weird how much trouble UB has filling tourneys. I was laughing when I was playing UBOC #... whatever one was last Sunday and I noticed the stars second chance tourney and the FT regular Sunday were both bigger. I hate Phil H too but he isn't at every table!
