Trimmed tournament below. Would appreciate comments. Have been trying to stop limping so much and tighten my pre flop range.

donsgirl is loose, tekktribe doubled up early with AA but has been playing tight sinced then and generally folds to aggression. He does like a bit of slow play as well.

Congratulations on the win! Overall I think you played this very well. Your late game aggression and HU play was excellent I think.

Perhaps the only other overall comment is to keep your open raises when blinds are big to 2.5-3x BB. Raising more than this is a leak IMO, because if you're pushed over preflop or on the flop and have to fold, you have wasted those chips above 3x BB. It also keeps the pot a bit smaller if you're called and c-bet a missed flop. 3x BB will fold all hands that 4-5x BB will IMO. Plus to an observant player it is a very obvious tell if you are raising your weaker hands 3x BB and your stronger ones 4x+ BB.

Specific comments:

[9d 9h] BU (M=49.00; f+f+f+f+f+r+F) - how much was the raise? If it was to 100 or less I would call and play for set value. 99 also has some overpair value too.

1. AJo - I muck this UTG level 1. Basically I am only playing pocket pairs and AQ+ from this position. As played, I like it.

Hands 2 and 3 seem to be missing...

4. KQs - I muck this from MP. I'd raise this from the CO or button but not from this position.

5. JJ - I like the re-raise, I don't do this often enough. Perhaps re-raise a bit more to say 300-360 - you're offering opp better than 3:1 odds to make the call.

12. 88 - 3x BB here.

14. A9s - 3x BB.

17. K6s - 3x BB.

19. AQo - 3x BB.

20. A4s - 3x BB. I can see that you raised to try to put the short stack AI but if the big stack pushes over you have wasted 600 chips. You can standard raise and call a push by shorty.

21. A3s - 3x BB.

22. 3x BB. You could have saved yourself 200 chips here.

24. QTo - c-bet the flop for 700-800.

25. 93s - nice. I don't do this enough.

26. T6s - I usually raise or fold but limping is OK if he lets you see a free flop.

28. KQo - fine to call since you have position postflop, you could also shove over preflop depending on reads. As played, I would bet a bit more on the flop, maybe 2/3 pot or so - make it look like a c-bet. Your weak lead achieved the same thing though, nice.

29. 52o - yes absolutely you have to call the river. Only 9x and TT+ beats you and those hands (possibly with the exception of 9x) would almost certainly have bet somewhere.

33. A4s - I like this, particularly the flop C-R. Pity he didn't have an A or J, you would have gotten his whole stack.

Hi, havnt read Tai's comments but good practise for me to do these. + I play the $5.50s all the time so can hopefully offer something.

donsgirl is loose, tekktribe doubled up early with AA but has been playing tight sinced then and generally folds to aggression. He does like a bit of slow play as well.
