    Default 2007 resolutions/goals

Be interesting to see what folks resolutions/goals are for 2007.

After depositing the minimum on PS recently, after my unfortunate cashout http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...692&highlight= I got my measly $25 up to around $97 playing 6 seater $13 sng's (I know this was bad bankroll management but you cant even call $25 a bankroll. I just wanted to see what I could do with it lol). I have now lost all these winnings and am back to square 1 so decided to set myself some goals for the new year.

Anyway here are my goals/resolutions for 2007.

    1. As I dont have Poker Tracker or SNGPT yet I've decided I need to buy these to up my ROI so this is 1st on my list.
    2. put back in what I took out when i had to cashout (re above link).
    3. go back to playing $5.50 9 seaters (i'm sure I just hit a good run playing these $13 6 seaters)
    4. build a bankroll to play the $11.00 9 seaters, then if possible, move up another level and in doing this get back into the black on sharkscope!!.
    5. play more MTT's and learn to play them well.
    6. visit the "Cincinnati Club" in Glasgow and play a £50 freezout (been wanting to do this for ages!)
    7. read read read. post post post. learn learn learn!!

    1. Improve my push/fold game so I'm always making correct push/fold decisions.
    2. Avoid occasional attacks of Fancy Play Syndrome that cause me to lose a lot of chips pushing a player off their hand.
    3. Become a winning player at the $27 turbos.
    4. Build my bankroll to play the $60 turbos.
    5. Learn to play full ring (progress to date has been embarrassing).
    6. Learn to play MTTs.
    7. Play a few live SNGs at Crown Casino in Melbourne (they are apparently very soft indeed).

    1. Single table the $5.50s to learn how to get and how to use reads
    2. Move up to 25NL. After a bad start at $10NL im now a few buyins up but I don't have a big enough sample size to convince myself im ready for the step up.
    3. Put some moves together. Just one or two things so that i'm not always playing circa HOH with my cards face up. This ties in with number 1.
    4. Lose weight for my wedding
    5. Actually work during the days instead of posting here all day.
    6. Get better at massaging pots.

Its booked for 9/02/2008. So gives me a year to look good in a frock coat.

Guess I should spend more time in the gym and less online!

Congrats ginger. Just got married myself in October. We managed to book our venue earlier this year without problem but I'm guessing you've got somewhere specific in mind.

Let me know if you want any advice on keeping the cost down!!!

Best advice for keeping wedding costs down:

    Get her parents to pay.

Not sure my goals really fit this forum, but either way...

    1. Finish the Tournament Trimmer (should be in January...I graduate next week!)
    2. Use poker money to pay off the car I'm buying next month
    3. Still be rolled for everything I'm currently rolled for after completing #2 (#2 will wait for this)
    4. Average at least 100 MTTs a month for the year
    5. Start playing the Majors regularly (I'm requiring $25k for this)
    6. Final table one of the Sunday Majors
    7. Break $100k
    8. Continue losing weight at least until I'm below 200 lbs.
    I run a training site...

Check out strategy videos at GrinderSchool.com, from $10 / month.
