1/2 NL Live game.

Effective Stacks of around $200

My stack = ~$300

I limp UTG with 88. UTG+3 raises to $12. 4 callers, then the BB rebumps it to 25.

My read on BB from previous experience is that he is a big donator who plays his own hand without consideration of position or his opponents possible holdings. Knowing this, and figuring that there is a 75% change original raisrer will just call instead of putting in a third bet, and knowing that if that happens the reraise will get multiple callers, giving me correct odds in a huge pot. I overcall with 88.

6 to flop of JT3 rainbow@ $25 each. Pot size is ~$150.

BB, who put in the original reraise is first to act. He bets $19 into the massive pot. I am pretty sure my hand is good against BB since he tends to bet his monsters strong, unless he hits a set, in which case he almost always checks. I don't know what is coming after me though, so I just call the $19 and see what develops. original raiser folds, as do 2 more (off topic, but what hands can you really fold here except maybe low connectors that totally whiffed?). Cutoff stays in the pot, and we see the turn card:

9clubs, completing the rainbow, and giving me the wrong end of the OESD. BB makes what I consider to be another rediculous bet, $28 in the ~200 pot. I glance at cutoff, and it appears that he is preparing to muck, so I decide to go with my gut feeling that I have the best hand and take the pot down right here.

I raise $150 more, essentially putting BB all in.

Just for kicks, here are two other hands with the same villian (BB), these from a different 2/5 NL game.

I see where you are coming from but let me tell you about 2 other hands I remember this guy (lets call him Donator) playing, both from different 2/5 games (as opposed to the easier 1/2 game this is happening at).

First hand I am not involved in. The first hand I just observed, but wasn't involved in.

Donator raises Utg to $15. 1 caller, and then the button makes it $50. Donator calls. Flop is A78. Donator bets $15 into 115 pot. Button reraises him all in. Donator calls with 9To.

Hand 2 I am involved in. I raise to $25 UTG with AA. Donator calls me and announces he is doing so blind since he is on a rush. Flop of 229. I bet $40 on the flop, donator flips one card.. It's a 4. He stops counts out some chips, and flips another card. Its also a 4. knowing that I can see both his cards, donator raises me, another 40. I say wtf, I am confused, tank, then call. On the blank turn, I check to donator...
