Default WOW, what could I have done here? 1/2 NL FR PS

I don't know if I just ran into really bad luck here or if I played it poorly. My profits for the entire night squandered on these two hands about 2 minutes apart right before I was going to quit...

    can i lay this down?

Hand 1: In an un-raised pot I'm comming around to the concept you need to not want to play for stacks here in an un-raised pot without a nut flush against sane opponents.

    Hand 2: It's fine.

    Worry less about big pots.

I think it's silly to not play for stacks unless you have the nuts, you can usually play a king high or even a queen high flush like it's the nuts as well. But you need to be slowing down with an 8-high flush.

    Marry Me Cheryl!!!
i call the turn on hand1. SOmethings not right.

In hand 2 i tend to check the flop and give a worse hand the chance to put some cash in behind on the turn. As played its fine though IMO.

I agree. No reason to limp this hand without a bunch of limps in front of you. If you're going to play it, raise it. That way you get Axs and Kxs out.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
