I'd bet more on every street, then this would be a crying call for sure.

As played, I can go either way, I think this is usually Qx or a FH but you're getting an OK price and every draw on a big draw flop missed. I'm a little worried that you don't know how he lost 600 chips this early. If you saw him take a beat (or bet a missed draw!) I would be a lot more tempted to call.

I beleive he lost 600 to a 9977x board when he held the 7, but not to sure.

I agree with DRM that you need to up the amount of your bets on each street (say pot size) and yes I think you need to call this on the river. Just be prepared to post you bad beat when he flips over something like KQ or QJ.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

With only 380 invested in the pot i couldnt bring myself to call this...Qx is just too likely. missed draw is possible but

That is one sucky river but I can't lay it down. Probably QJ or some limp/caller's crap hand. If he's a good player maybe 66, 99.

The amount you have invested in the pot is irrelevant. All that matters is whether you think you have the best hand 1 in every 3.4 times on the river. I think this one is a crying call.

Otherwise, I agree with the other posters, bet more on every street, hopefully getting opp AI on the turn:
    - Raise to 100 preflop makes the pot 230 on the flop
    - Bet 200 on the flop makes the pot 630 on the turn
    - Pot-sized bet on the turn puts opp AI on turn for his remaining 630, river call problem solved.

    150-180 on flop
    420-450 on turn
    problem solved!
