Default Can I get away from this?

Villain is Lagg and got a big stack by flopping trip sixes against somebodys queens having called 4xBB raise with 67s.

    $5.50 on stars. Blinds 15/30,
    UTG 2870
    Hero 1240
    MP+1 2400
    CO 860
    Button (Villain) 3550
    SB 1130
    BB 1450

    Dealt to Hero [Ac,As]
1fold, Hero raises to 120, 2 folds, button calls 120, SB folds, BB folds
    Flop
    [Tc,7c,Ts]
Hero Bets 180, Villain raises to 540, Hero??

Never ever fold here at a $5.50. Sure, sometimes you end up paying off trip Ts but you'll see flush draws, A7, 88-99 and lots of other hands you crush often enough to make pushing here +EV.

Tai, In this particular scenario, are you advocating a push? He's short-stacked if he just calls whereas a push means game over if villain has tripped Tens. Just wondered what your line would be.

You can't really call here as you are pot commited if you do, so its a push/fold question. (Unless anyone advocates calling and pushing turn?)

Absolutely I would push over here. It would be terrible for Hero to call off more than half of his stack preflop and on the flop then check/fold the turn unless another A hits. Not sure what the chance of flopping trips is but I'd say it's somewhere around 1%. There are just sooooo many hands that Hero crushes, I'm happy to get my chips in here.

    so was I.

I was unhappy that he had called my pf raise with QTo and hit a mega flop. Just not my night. Maybe tomorrow eh?!
