Bookmark icons

I recently switched to Mozilla so if this is browser specific than I would prefer it directed towards Mozilla.

When you bookmark items in your links toolbar that runs across the top of your screen, you can give them a name and if the site has an icon it will put that icon next to it. FTR has a brown spade for example. I would like to conserve room by simply having an icon represent a bookmark instead of both the icon and a name. Some bookmarks don't have an icon with it though. What I would like to know is if there is a property manager somewhere that can allow me to give bookmarks icons even if they odn't have one?

Works perfectly. You just right click on bookmark properties and there's an added part where you can add/change the icon.

A problem is that bigger images that get converted to icons end up very fuzzy and have a lot of white specks sometimes. I don't have photoshop so I don't know if that would help.

This is a very delayed response.

irfanview is an open source image editing program. You can't draw on the picture, but you can crop, resize, etc. This will make your icons prettier.

If you use it
Image (menu) -> resize/resample

bookmark icons are 32x32 pixels I believe
