I just couldn't believe he called such a large preflop raise with 9-3. I figured he had KK, QQ, or maybe AK/AQ

Got to always watch out for the minraise at those stakes. With a minraise right there and no reraise preflop, I would probably put him on a set. You could have got away from that hand, but at 20NL those guys will make that same move with A9. So yeah just tough luck that guy called you with that trash and hit.

i think i would of reraise preflop, try to get the hand heads-up. It's a crappy flop, but a paired one, and all you have is TPTK. In this situation I would of call the flop reraise and chek the turn with a fold in mind vs a big raise with such an ugly board....

I couldn't reraise preflop as I was the opening raiser and the two callers just called me. If I would've been able to I would have definitely since I love nothing more than getting my money in preflop when I have AA

I think my biggest leak right now is not "believing" people I'm playing against have anything when a flop like that comes up. Then again, I don't want to start believing people have quads (for instance) just because there is a pair on the board, etc.

Sorry misread the HH (btw: http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...poker-1826.htm makes it easier).

I'm not saying fold each time the pair boards or what not, just be cautious. You are out of position on a scary board, and you jam your chips in the middle without any info on opponent.....you have to be cautious. Like I said, All you have is top pair top kicker; not the nuts in my book on flops like those; This is why 910suited is profitable in late position

And I'm not sure QQ reraises and call you down here; that reraise is were you have to shut down the bank

I don't know if it's a decent played hand. At $20NL people simply don't re-raise you without a good hand (with the exception of the occasional maniac who you'll come to recognise very quickly - clearly if they re-raise you you can and should play harder even with top pair), so you have to ask yourself how often are you good here. It does look like a set, very much - but it could also be TT-KK or even something like K9. It's a crappy situation to be in, and I don't hate the push - but maybe you could keep notes of what people showdown when they (min)raise the flop. I'd certainly love to know!
