Default AJo hits TP. This ok?

Villain is 30/0 on 23 hands so no reads...

PokerStars Pot-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    CO ($11.85)
    Button ($7.75)
    SB ($18)
    BB ($27.45)
    UTG ($17.40)
    UTG+1 ($16.80)
    MP1 ($55.15)
    Hero ($21.70)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with J, A.
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.7, 2 folds, SB calls $0.60, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.45.

    Flop: ($2.35) A, 4, T (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $1.5, SB calls $1.50, UTG calls $1.50.

    Turn: ($6.85) 4 (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $3, SB calls $3, UTG folds.

    River: ($12.85) J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $6.5, SB calls $6.50.

    Final Pot: $25.85

Is my betting ok? I can't decide if it's too aggressive or too weak (or ok). I'm putting him on AX. Afraid of AT/AQ/AK... without hitting that J on the river I would've folded to a bet or checked behind. How's that?

Raise more pre-flop... $1.25 is "standard". Flop bet is fine, but $2 is fine too. I check behind the turn, since there are no obvious draws and you only have TPGK. Without a read I think your river bet is fine. A couple bucks more would be fine too.

being that it is most likely that villian is a weak calling station, i change only the bet sizes.

i'd raise it more preflop, to 1.25 or something. otherwise well played

I like the theme of feeding him small bets, but I think you can go a little bigger and still keep him in there.

4xBB and + 1xBB because the UTG limped?

Thanks the info. The villain had AQo.

Yeah, a good rule of thumb is 4xBB+1BB per limper. But it shouldn't be hard-and-fast. If you're playing at a table and regularly see three or four callers, you can increase it a bit. You can also increase it against players that call a lot of pre-flop raises and then fold to c-bets. There are times you can lower it (against shorties, or to encourage action from bad players when you know you can outplay them post-flop) but for the most par, esp. at these stakes, if you aren't getting many calls with 4xBB+1BB/limper you should find another table.
