Default Reraised and i have kings

I held pocket kings and I get re-raised by a conservative player. At the time I had been raising and stealing blinds and acting very agressively, winning the last 3/5 pots. Knowing, there are only three hands worth a re-raise and only one that dominates me, I went all in and turns over aces. Was that the right move or should I have called? Im pretty sure since the flop came all rags, I wouldve still gotten all money in the pot and still lost the pot anyway. Did I misplay the hand all together?

no push all in with kings every single time

    agreed...

Kings and Aces only come out together once every 24 hands...

Edit: Ok, I fucked that up badly...from what I've read now, it's 12 to 1 odds that they'll be dealt out at a full table at the same time...IDK...either way, I can't see it being good enough to not push KK 99% of the time.

I thought it was around once every 100 hands...
What's the difference between a large cheese pizza and a poker player?

A large cheese pizza can feed a family of four.

21.8 to 1 are the odds of kings versus aces, or any lower pocket pair facing a higher pocket pair.

As for how the hand was played, what were your stack sizes and blinds? If you had 10BB or less its an EASY push. 20BB or more then you probably shouldnt push, but try to extract more. Just sucks he had aces.

As for KK vs. AA, its about 1 in 22 that someone at a full table gets aces. And about 1 in 21 that if someone got aces, another will get kings. So its something like 1 in 400. Not anywhere near 1 in 20.

    lol.

so if I have kings there will be aces out against me 1 in 21 times or so?

that sucks. in my last 26 KK hands, I've run into aces three times. blech

Yup, whatever (non-A containing) hand you have, there's approx a 1:21 chance that someone at the table has AA. So, if you have KK, it's still 1:21 that someone else has AA. BUT, if you have KK and someone reraises then I'd say the odds of you facing AA have suddenly shortened.
