I rented a new ventrilo server if people are interested. It would be occupied by Flopturnriver members exclusively. There seem to be many other voice programs people are running, just wanted to throw, what in my opinion, is the best program. Same operation as before use this info...

Is anyone going to be actually using this ventrilo server? I was first told by Mike that there would be several users talking on ventrilo, especially since the channel was getting a bit cluttered at times. Come talk guys!

My Ventrilo vs PalTalk poll showed that the overwhelming majority of you meet on Ventrilo versus PalTalk (or Skype), so I've unstickied the PalTalk topic.

Is this FTR-only Ventrilo server set up? You guys using this now? If so, iwa, could you edit your first post at top here with the new server/login info?

I will answer, although I'm sure IWA is more than capable. Yes the new Ventrillo server is FTR only and here are the new login details:
http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php - here is the dowload for the program... download the v2.2. If you have windows dl the windows one... etc.

After installing the program.. You will need to set it up
1) Make a username by clicking the username tab and then the new button
2) Change the server that you want to connect to. When making this choose a name and fill in the following information -
IP: rage.typefrag.com
PORT: 8628
3) Set up your mic, click setup and click play hot keys box. You can change the button you have to push to transmit button in the box below. After this is set-up, you will be good to go!

Ventrillo server change.....due to the connection issues on the SanFancisco server we have moved it to Dallas

Hostname is: spawn.typefrag.com

The port number is the same as are all of the passwords

Ventrilo is a group voice chat application. You'll find many of our FTR members in Ventrilo engaged in serious poker discussions and offering real-time advice. It is open to all FTR visitors. You'll need a computer equipped with a microphone and speakers/headphone to participate.

Easy Setup

Password: money
