I watched the whole game thinking that some miraculous comeback would happen. Then I just wanted to pour salt in my wounds so I watched the Gators celebrate. Here’s the kicker, how are they going to rebound from this when they are going to lose all of their offense? Yea the defense will be good, I think, but I think that we are going to have a rough year next year. At least we made it to the big game, I guess, is the silver lining. Now it’s up to the boys playing B-Ball.

I don't think this was a bad decision. If you can't run for one yard you aren't going to win the championship. The offense needed a confidence boost and Tressel showed confidence in them. The fumble on the next possession was gameover, not the failed 4th down.

I would agree if they were in better field position and our defense was playing goot. There was nothing to fall back on if they didn't get it. As luck would have it though they held them for a field goal and then as you said followed that up with a fumble which lead to a touchdown.

It was like they didn't want it nor did they come there to play. I didn't see deep emotion coming from the players at the end of the game. My other issue was the poor coaching. Why didn't they run the ball more and change their defensive scheme? It was like Cooper was coaching or they just threw the game.

I'm not taking anything away from Florida because they played a great game. I'm not too pissed because their coach is from Ohio and coached with Tressel under Earl Bruce.

I agree and Smith tried everything he could to make something happen. He had no time. We may have gotten a glimpse of what it would be like if the Browns drafted him.
