55$NLHE: Villain has already pushed a river before, but has not shown many hands. All I know is he is aggressive. I'm not sure what I could put him on that I can beat, except KQ, KJ. How bout you?

Well I think he has something along the lines of K-9, J-9 or maybe . I think you mis-played this hand terribly (You want help well were gonna give it too ya straight). Not having position you need to raise it atleast 3.5xBB, even in late position you need to be raising KK 3xbb. The raise to 555 is way to small, you gave BB odds to call.
Then on the flop, thats a dangerous board I would bet 1,500 ATLEAST. Better to win a small pot, than lose a big one unessicarly.

I think trying to overprotect a big pair late in a multi is terrible. Esp when you're good enough to fold like OP.

edit : I'm no mtt expert, but I take it you advocate raising this much when you're stealing the blinds and raising more with a big pair. Comon man...

2.5xbb - 3xbb is fine. You want action with KK so you welcome a caller. I would bet a little more than half pot. If he comes along then he is probably on FD or SD. So the J on the turn is a scare cared. You don't want to play a big pot on this board.
