earning a stupidity scholarship?

    Default earning a stupidity scholarship?

    early tourney, no reads. how wary should i be of the min raise, especially out of position? is shoving the worst thing i can do?

    ps $11 2 table

    Hero raises to t80, 2 folds, MP2 calls t80, 4 folds.

    Flop: (t190) J, K, 8 (2 players)

    I am shoving this every time. At a $11 tourney you will get called by a whole lot of crap that you beat, flush/straight draws, worse Ks, TT, AJ, the list goes on. I pay off a flopped set or 2 pair every time here.

    Plus from my experience a flop minraise is very often a bluff at least as often as a monster.

    Push it. you are ahead more then you are behind.

    BTW I sometime use this exact same move when I think villian is C-Betting. Most of the time villian either folds his c-bet, or calls and check-folds the turn if he misses
