    Default The EVIL POSTFLOP MINRAISE

I'm starting to notice how much i'm getting c/minraised or just minraised in position when i cont bet. It may be because i cont bet a lot, and i fold these when i don't have anything.

But i'm starting to realize how weak these raises are. It almost always isn't anything strong... and i find that when i do have a strong hand and eventually put my stack in, they always fold. always fold.

How do you guys deal with these, should i start playing back at them?

ps. i notice that a turn minraise is always ridiculously strong, but that's kinda obvious.

Max, you obviously know the answer to this question.
If you have a read that they are doing this trying to pick off cbets play back.
Without a read idk how much u can play back.

    I'm talking about unknowns.

Nothing bugs me more than the check min raise on the flop from an unknown.
I sometimes call these with my Ace high, but fold to their turn bet...this is definitely a leak of mine.

If it's a short stack pulling this move on me then I almost always fold because I have no fold equity.

here's some things i do more now to mix it up vs these types when i have marginal stuff (ie air, weak pairs, weak draws)..
    -cbet less flops.
-oop, check-call or lead-call, then lead on the turn or check again and lead the river, mostly on dryish boards.
-ip, 3bet the flop, again usually on dryish boards. i dont do this much though since they prob are donkish and call a lot. i don't call ip much cuz of what JL wrote about.
most times i just laugh frustratedly and fold though.
